What is AlaskaIntel?

Welcome to the definitive documentation for the Alaska Intelligence Platform. This section serves as an operational overview of the tracking and incident dashboard ecosystem.

AlaskaIntel is a real-time situational awareness platform designed for command centers. It aggregates data from over 184 disparate sources and standardizes them into a unified stream of actionable intelligence (Signals).

These sources range from:

  • USGS earthquake seismographs
  • NWS weather stations
  • Alaska 511 road cameras and highway statuses
  • Local EMS, fire, and police dispatches
  • Automated municipal incident feeds

The Alaska Intelligence Platform is built to deliver high-fidelity, actionable data at scale. It offers a suite of specialized tools designed for emergency and command center operations.

Our display layer includes:

  • Main Dashboard: The centralized command center operator console.
  • Radar: A geospatial intelligence map for live traffic and incidents.
  • Wall: An ambient, rotating screen loop designed to run on large-scale command center walls.
  • Globe: A 3D WebGL global correlation visualizer.

A specialized integration tier providing enterprise partners with programmatic access to our consolidated feeds. This allows for direct data piping into third-party command centers without having to monitor individual data sources manually.

At the core of AlaskaIntel is our robust data ingestion architecture, which automatically ensures active failover and continuous parsing. This ensures critical intelligence seamlessly flows to operators globally, unaffected by local outages or single-source downtime.
